Five things that would help,
and no idea which one to do first.

The Shift-Proof Shelf: all five, in order, ninety days

That is not indecision and it is not a character flaw. It is what happens when you are tired, everything is a problem at once, and every product page you open tells you that its problem is the important one. So the first thing in here is not a product. It is the order.

Tell me if this is you

  • You have three tabs open right now and you have read all of them twice.
  • You already know your sleep is the real problem, and you also know your stomach is, and your back is, and none of them will wait their turn.
  • You have bought something like this before, opened it once on a day off, and never gone back to it.
  • You are not short of information. You have read more about shift work and cortisol at 3am than most people read about anything.
  • What you are short of is somebody deciding for you, so that the deciding is not one more thing on the list.
  • And underneath all of it, the quiet worry that you will spend the money and it will sit there, like the last one did.

None of that is you being disorganised. You spend twelve hours making decisions for other people, in order, under pressure, and you are very good at it. Then you come home and the decision that has no protocol, no handover and no priority list is the one about you. Of course that is the one that does not get made.

Why the last one sat there

The problem was never which product. It was which one first.

Any one of these five, opened at the right time, does what it says. The same product opened in the wrong week does nothing at all, and then you conclude it did not work and that you are the reason.

Here is the clearest example, and it is the one that catches almost everybody. If you are running on four or five hours across a set of shifts, then your appetite, your stomach, your patience and your pain tolerance are all being driven by that. Buy the eating one first and you will work honestly at it for two weeks and get very little, because you were treating the thing downstream of the actual problem.

That is not a failure of effort. It is a sequencing error, and sequencing is exactly the kind of thing that should be written down once and then never thought about again.

So that is what the first thing in this bundle is. Not a sixth product. An order.

Ninety days from now

What this actually looks like

It is an ordinary Thursday off. Not a good week, not a stretch where everything lined up. A normal one, with three shifts behind you and two ahead.

You wake up at a time you chose. There is food in the fridge that you will actually eat, because the thing you needed to decide about food you decided in week three and have not thought about since. You have a card on the inside of your locker door and you did not look at it yesterday, because you did not need to.

Somebody at work asks how you are doing all this, and the honest answer is that you are not doing very much. You are running four rules, and none of them are new any more.

That is the whole thing. Not a transformation, not a new you, not a lifestyle. A Thursday where your own body is not one of the problems you are managing, because the decisions about it got made weeks ago on a page and then stayed made.

The same problem, in their words

From nurses I have coached

I have a button up shirt that I haven't been able to wear since nursing school. I put it on the other day and it buttoned. I may not be able to see the progress but my wardrobe definitely does.

Suzette, in the community

I put on my bathing suit and not only did I fit it. I loved what I saw in the mirror! RESULTS!!!!! I'm going to cry!

Kristal, in a message
BeforeUsed to be the "fit friend", now making excuses to skip girls' night because nothing fit.
AfterWent to girls' night in a dress she hadn't worn in 3 years. Someone said "You look like YOU again."

"I feel like myself again"

Shellie

Shared with permission. These nurses were coaching clients of mine, not buyers of this file. Their words are here so you can hear how nurses I have worked with talk about the same problem, not as a promise of what a document will do on its own. Individual results vary.

The Start Here Map

Six questions. It gives you a dated ninety day order: which one you open today, which one in week three, which one in week seven, and which ones to leave completely alone for now. The leaving alone is the half that matters.

This is the bundle exclusive and I am not hiding it behind the paywall. A map to a library you do not own is a list of titles. Run it, see what it says, and then decide whether you want the five things it points into. If it tells you to buy one product instead of five, believe it, because it is willing to say that and it says it often.

Question 1 of 6

On a run of shifts, how much sleep are you actually getting?

Question 2 of 6

What are you working at the moment?

Question 3 of 6

If one thing got fixed this month, which one is loudest?

Question 4 of 6

How does your first day off usually go?

Question 5 of 6

Are you actually eating on shift?

Question 6 of 6

How far ahead can you see your roster?

Answer all six and it will print your dated order.

The dates are calculated from today, on your own device. Nothing is sent anywhere, there is no email box on this page, and nothing is stored. Refresh and it is gone.

The Locker Door Card

Every protocol in the library, compressed to one line each, on one page. This is the artefact. It goes on the inside of your locker door and it is the thing you photograph and send to whoever is having the worst week on your unit.

It is printed below in full and it prints on its own page in black and white. Take it. Six one line rules will get you a long way, and each one is the compressed version of a page you do not own yet. The card tells you what to do. The products tell you why, what the exceptions are, and what to do when the rule does not survive your particular unit.

The Locker Door Card

SmithFit · six rules · keep this where you can see it at hour nine

1
The caffeine cutoff On the last night of a run, nothing with caffeine in it after your clock out drink. That one night is not negotiable, whatever the rest of the week looked like. The full version, with your own cutoff time worked out from your own clock, is in Wired At 8AM.
2
The four eating steps Something before you clock in. A protein anchor in the middle of the shift. Something at the end, before you drive. More volume in the meal you already eat at home. Four steps in that order, and nothing else changes until all four are there. The full version, with the observable for each step and the branch that has to come before all of it, is the Under-Eater Path in Strong on Any Rotation.
3
The Hour Nine Reset Ninety seconds, standing, at the hour you already dread. Pick the card that matches what the shift has done to you so far, not the one you did last time. The four cards, and the honest page on what this does and does not fix, are in Everything Hurts By Hour Nine.
4
The days off decision Set the anchor before you sleep, not after you wake up. One fixed time on your first day off that everything else hangs from. Decided the night before, while you still have a say in it. The eighteen hour map, the anchor setter and the rebound plate are in The First-Day-Off Fix.
5
The 3am plate rule A protein anchor, a carbohydrate that is not only sugar, something with volume, and a fluid. Three of the four and it is a plate. One of the four and it is a snack, and it will be back for you at hour nine. The five builds, break room possible and no cooking, are The 3AM Plate in Strong on Any Rotation.
6
The re-entry rule After ten days away you do not start over. One half session, one whole session light, then straight back in at the block you left. The counter never moves backwards, and it counts both of those as sessions, because they were. Both re-entry sessions, and the version for when it has been longer than a few months, are The Restart Card in Strong on Any Rotation.

Six rules and four of the five products named on the card itself. That is on purpose. If the card alone is enough for you, keep it and do not spend anything, and I would still rather you had it than not.

The Rescue Index

Eighteen specific bad days, each pointing at the one page that already handled it. This is what the library looks like when you are too tired to think, which is the only time any of us actually go looking.

It prints on one page and it lives with the locker door card.

The days this index will not route

Bleeding, black stools, unexplained weight loss, pain that wakes you, vomiting that keeps coming back, trouble swallowing, chest pain, new numbness or weakness, or anything that has been getting steadily worse rather than moving around. None of those are on the index and none of them will be. That is an appointment, and if you are the person on your unit who never makes one, please make this the exception.

Nothing in this bundle is a diagnosis and nothing in it is medical advice about you. No coaching, no calls, no replies, and no individual health answers. I am a nurse, but I am not your nurse, and buying five files does not make me one.

The Full Print Pack

Every printable from all five products, plus the three that exist only here, collected in one place and laid out to print legibly in black and white on whatever printer you actually have access to.

The badge holder cards. The timing card. The four Hour Nine cards. The eighteen hour map and the fridge card. The blank twelve week grid. The Locker Door Card. The Rescue Index. The Start Here Map with your own dates written in.

The printed version is the real one. Everything on this shelf keeps its state in your browser, and browsers clear storage after a week or two of not visiting. A card taped inside a locker door does not, and it does not need a signal at 3am either.

The number

What I am not going to do with the price

Most nurses buy two of these. That is $94. This is all five for $97. That is the comparison that matters, because it is the one you were actually about to make tonight.

The five pages each list their own value. I am not adding those up. That number would be silly, you have almost certainly already read one of those pages, and you would notice straight away that it contradicts itself. These five sell at $175. You are paying $97.

There is no struck through price on this page, because ninety seven dollars is the only price this has ever been. No timer, no expiring version, no bonus that disappears at midnight. If you come back after your next set of nights it will be ninety seven dollars, and you will not have missed anything.

Operating rule

Every single stays purchasable, permanently

All five products stay continuously on sale at the prices printed above. None of them gets pulled, retired, moved behind this bundle, or quietly repriced upward to make this page look better. If a price ever changes it changes on that product's own page first and this page follows it.

That rule is the only thing that makes the comparison above honest. A bundle discount measured against products you cannot actually go and buy separately is not a discount, it is a made up number, and it is the most common thing done to nurses on the internet.

$97
One payment. Yours permanently. No subscription.
Five complete products 24 logged sessions 12 weeks of blocks 18 rescue routes on one page Interactive tools plus the full print pack No coaching included No calls, no replies, no community
All sales are final, and this is not about protecting me. These are five complete files and you get every page of all of them the moment you pay, so there is nothing to hand back and a refund window would be theatre. What I have done instead is put all three bundle exclusives on this page, free and in full: the map runs, the card prints, and the eighteen rescue routes are listed. You can use the whole decision layer before you spend anything, and if it tells you to buy one product instead of five, please do that.
And what is not included, so it is not a surprise later. No coaching. No calls, no replies, no messages, no community, no check ins, and no individual health answers about your body, your symptoms or your medication. Those belong with your own physician. This is five files, a map, a card and an index, and that is the whole delivery. It is also exactly why five products cost ninety seven dollars instead of a monthly fee.

Do not buy this if

  • The map above sent you to a physician. Under four hours of sleep across a run of shifts is not a scheduling problem to solve with a file. Sleep apnea, thyroid problems and iron deficiency all look exactly like being a tired nurse, and none of the five products can tell the difference. Please go and get seen. I would much rather lose the sale.
  • The map told you to buy one. It says that often and it means it. If one product is the answer, ninety seven dollars is you spending fifty extra dollars on four files you will not open this year.
  • You want somebody to talk to. There is nobody. No replies, no community, no check ins, not once. That is not me being unkind, it is me being straight with you before you pay rather than after. If having somebody in your corner is the thing you actually need, spend the ninety seven dollars on one session with somebody who can see you, and take the locker door card above with you for free.
  • You are not working shifts at the moment. Four of the five are built around a run of shifts, hour nine, and a first day off. Away from that roster they lose most of what makes them work.
  • You already own three of the five. Buy the other two on their own pages and you will have spent less. The three exclusives are worth having but they are not worth paying twice for products you have.

Still not sure which single is yours? Take the free two minute one instead. Three questions, no email, and two of its possible answers tell you to spend nothing at all.

The shelf, read from the top

Where this sits on the shelf

This is the top. There is no higher tier, nothing in here is a teaser for anything else, no supplement line, no affiliate links, no coaching upsell, no application call. Everything under it stays on sale on its own page, at its own price, and on day one you should probably buy one of those first.

  • The Shift-Proof Shelf$97This page. All five, in order, ninety days. Most nurses buy two, which is $94. All five are $97.
  • Strong on Any Rotation$47Twelve blocks that advance when you log a session. The structural one, and the one that wants twelve clear weeks.
  • Everything Hurts By Hour Nine$47Two minutes a shift, standing, and four numbers at the end that say whether it worked.
  • Shift Gut$47Three shifts, one variable each, and a short list of what to suspect.
  • Wired At 8AM$27Sleep sits upstream of the other four. If you are under six hours, this is the one to fix first.
  • The First-Day-Off Fix$7One day, decided before you leave the car park. The cheapest place to find out whether a written plan survives your roster.
  • The free two minute oneFreeThree questions. Two of its answers tell you to spend nothing.

The ten items above are exactly what arrives. I am not going to tell you that everything I make in future lands in here for free, because that is a promise with no end date, sold to you once, and the only way anybody keeps it is by never making anything again. You are buying the ten things on that list, in the state they are in on the day you pay. If a sixth product ever exists it will have its own page and its own price, and you will be free to ignore it, in exactly the same way you are free to close this page right now and keep the card.

Before you ask

The questions I would have

I already bought one of them. Do I pay full price for this?

Yes, and I would rather give you the uncomfortable answer than a vague one. There is no credit mechanism, because building one would mean either accounts or an email exchange, and this whole shelf is built to have neither. If you own Shift Gut at forty seven dollars, the other four plus the map for ninety seven is still the cheaper end of this by a long way.

Can I buy the Start Here Map on its own?

No, and it is running free on this page, so you do not need to. What it cannot do on its own is open the pages it points at.

Five products is a lot. Will I actually use them?

Only one is open at a time. That is the entire reason the map exists and the reason it leads this page instead of sitting at the bottom as a bonus. If you open all five in week one you will use none of them, and I would rather say that here than let you find out in March.

Is there a refund?

No. All sales are final, which is exactly why all three bundle exclusives are printed on this page in full. You can run the map, print the card and read the eighteen routes before you decide.

Can I message you about my symptoms?

No, and I want to say that plainly rather than leave you waiting for a reply that is not coming. Your symptoms are a conversation with your own physician. No coaching, no calls, no replies, no community. That is what makes five products ninety seven dollars.

Will the singles disappear once I own this?

No. All five stay continuously purchasable at their listed prices. That is a permanent rule, and it is the only thing that makes the price comparison on this page mean anything.

What if my phone wipes it?

Every tool on this shelf keeps its state in the page link and in a short code you can screenshot. Bookmark the links and it comes back. Safari clears storage after about a week away and all of this was built around that, which is also why the print pack exists.

Is there anything to buy after this?

No. No supplements, no affiliate links, no tier above this, no call. The inventory is closed and it is printed above.

The nurse on the other side of this

She is not a different person and she has not fixed her life. Same unit, same roster, same short breaks, same drive home. Nothing about her circumstances got better.

What changed is that she stopped spending the last of every day deciding things about herself. The order got decided in September. The card went on the locker door in October. By December she was not thinking about any of it, which is the actual point and the thing nobody sells because it does not photograph.

She is the one at handover who looks like she has had a normal amount of sleep. Not because she found more hours. Because the four decisions that used to eat them got made once, on paper, and then stayed made.

You are not behind. You are still carrying the deciding. That is the part this puts down, and you can test the entire deciding layer on this page, today, for nothing.

And if the map above told you to go and be seen instead, then the nurse on the other side of this is the one who made the appointment, and I would genuinely rather you were her.
